It’s been the talk of the last couple of weeks. 20 billion dollars of the public’s money missing from NNPC! The whistle was blown by the former Central Bank Governor, Lamido Sanusi, and among other allegations, Sanusi has been suspended from his office under controversial circumstances.
The Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala confirms that at least 10 billion dollars remains unaccounted for, and explains that Nigeria’s President, Goodluck Jonathan has ordered an investigation into the missing money.
